Kane Has Given A Hint On His Next Club, Says Ex-Spurs Striker

Former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur striker Teddy Sheringham has insisted that Harry Kane has already given a hint on his next club.

Sheringham believes that Kane’s recent comments on Kevin De Bruyne suggests that a move to Manchester City is imminent.

Kane has been flirting with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are all said to be yearning to secure his services.

The North London club have rejected a £100 million bid from Manchester City last month and have insisted that the England captain is not for sale, but Kane made his intentions known even before the end of last season.

The 27-year-old also sparked a lot of speculations when he waxed lyrical about De Bruyne by insisting that the Belgium international is a striker’s dream.

“As soon as he put out his statement a couple of months ago, just before the Euros, it was happening, for me,” Sheringham, who scored 112 goals in 263 games for Spurs, told talkSPORT of Kane’s future.

“I think he’s probably had a chat with [Spurs chairman] Daniel Levy. I know there’s been even more speculation over the last couple of days, but I think he’s probably had a chat and said, ‘look, you’ve been a great servant to the club, if we get the right money for you, you can go’, I would think.

“Everyone is being very quiet on it at the moment. But for Harry to come out and say he wants to play with someone like Kevin De Bruyne and the players at Manchester City, the writing has got to be on the wall, hasn’t it?”
