According to a renowned sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi of RMC Sport, the Spanish defender will be joining Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year deal.
"Agreement between PSG and Sergio Ramos. The Real legend will join PSG for two years.
"The brother of the player who is in Paris has reached an agreement with the Parisian management. Medical visit in the next few days."
Several Premier League clubs with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal were chasing for the signature of the centre-back but after assessing various offers, Ramos is set to don the Paris Saint-Germain shirt in the French Ligue 1.
It is also believed that Ramos' brother and agent Rene Ramos was in Paris to seal the deal as PSG beat Chelsea to the signing of one of the most talented centre-backs in the world.
Ramos' arrival at PSG could be a positive step for the Parisians to keep their wonderkid Kylian Mbappe who has since been on the wishlists of Real Madrid for years.
PSG hoping to win the Champions League for the first time after being defeated by Bayern Munich in their maiden final are said to be eager to sign highly-rated Ramos as they could count his expeince after winning the accolade four times with the Los Blancos.
Despite PSG getting closer to finalise the deal, Arsenal are still planning to hijack the player's transfer with a more lucrative offer.
Real Madrid wanted Ramos to extend his stay at the club with a one-year offer but Ramos opted for a two-year deal, a negotiations which did not go down well with the Real Madrid hierarchy as the deadline for an agreement passed.
PSG witnessed a torrid season, missing out on the Ligue 1 title for the first time since Lille were crowned French champions and were also knocked out of the Champions League in the semi-finals, having lost 4-1 on aggregate to Pep Guardiola's side Manchester City.
Ramos will become PSG's second signing after securing the services of Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan.
