The Spanish Football Federation took to their social media account to unravel the calendar for the upcoming season which has some of the mouthwatering games.
The first week will see champions Atletico Madrid making a trip to Estadio de Balaídos to face Celta Vigo in a bid to defend their title.
Real Madrid, who will be without legend Sergio Ramos, will start their new adventure against Deportivo Alaves at the Mendizorrotza Stadium.
Real Madrid’s bitterest rivals Barcelona are yet to know the future of club captain Lionel Messi, but will usher their new La Liga season with a home game against Real Sociedad.
The Catalans will meet Real Madrid in El Clasico for the first time on October 24 at Camp Nou, before the second round on March 20, 2022, which will hopefully take place in the new Santiago Bernabeu.
The Madrid Derby starts at Real Madrid’s home on December 12 before Diego Simeone’s men entertain Real Madrid on May 8 for their penultimate match of the season.
Barcelona will first prepare for a trip to the capital to take on Atletico Madrid on October 3. The Blaugrana will then welcome the champions to Catalonia on February 6.
