The former IFK Norrkoping manager says the 21-year-old, who was a thorn in Slovakia’s flesh all game, is a huge talent.
Isak is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in Europe and he is expected to make a big move away from Anoeta this summer, with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund reportedly keeping tabs on the Swede.
Isak completed six dribbles against Slovakia; the most by a player in a game in the tournament so far, and the most by a Swedish player in a game in the Euros since Tomas Brolin in 1992.
“It’s really good to see him on the pitch, he’s a huge talent,” Andersson told the media after the game. “He’s a young player who’s still got a lot of room for improvement.
“I think there is a lot more to come from him. He played really well.”
Sweden have four points from their opening two games and the Swede coach is happy with his side so far.
He added: "It's good to have four points after two games. We've played seven games this year, and conceded just one goal. Our attack deserved more today, they were fantastic at times.
"We didn't play the way we wanted to in the first half. Slovakia moved really well and didn't give us anything. In the second half, we hit the ground running. Sometimes, your opponents make it difficult for you, but it was really good that we managed to get control of the match."
