Camano says Martinez will be staying at the San Siro but the Morocco international is ‘the only one who could leave now’ amid interest from other big European clubs.
Martinez has always been tipped with a move away from Serie A with Barcelona said to be his potential destination.
The Catalan giants were close to signing the Argentina international last summer but it could not materialize, and it was suggested that they could come calling again before the closure of the transfer window. Camano does not think the Milan-based club are ready to sell one of its prized assets.
Camano, who represents both players, spoke to Como Te Va on Radio Colonia in Argentina, discussing the futures of Hakimi and Lautaro.
“Balance sheets rule the world, so if Inter were to lose Lautaro, it wouldn’t be for cheap,” said Camano.
“The only one who could leave Inter now is Hakimi, and I represent him too.”
Hakimi on the other hand is on the wish list of both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain and the Blues are said to be close to securing the services of the former Real Madrid man per the news in England.
“We have to work on the Lautaro issue, as the situation is still not clear,” continued Camano.
“What were normal price-tags two years ago for transfers now seem to have lost their value after the pandemic. There is nothing concrete with regards to Lautaro. Inter have a very strong position with the player and they don’t want to let him go.
“We also need to see what it is that Lautaro wants, as he is 23 years old and his opinion is very important here. I think he can become one of the greatest players in Europe and the world.”
