Castillo says Guardiola was never ‘sincere’ to the Argentina striker during their time together in Manchester.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich head coach was brought down to tears during Aguero’s last home game for the Citizens against Everton where he scored a brace after coming on as substitute. Castillo has insisted that Guardiola’s emotions towards his son was a theatrical ploy as he thinks he never liked the former Atletico Madrid man.
“I don’t believe his tears, he was never sincere with my son,” claimed Aguero’s father, talking on Radio La Red. “In my opinion, he never wanted him.
“Guardiola is a great coach, but he always wants to be the main figure in his teams. From one day to the other, he changes the players or the midfield. The players never know if they’re important or not.
“He said Sergio couldn’t be replaced, but now he’s not in the squad.”
The 33-year-old left Manchester City as the club's all-time leading scorer with 260 goals in all competitions.
And won a lot of trophies including five Premier League trophies, six League Cups, one FA Cup and three FA community Shields.
