It’s Easy To Coach Neymar, Says Pochettino

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Mauricio Pochettino has revealed it is easy to manage one of the club’s superstars Neymar.

Many believe managing a big player like Neymar will be tiresome and tedious but the Argentine coach has insisted that the Brazil international is humble.

Neymar has often received a lot of backlash from the media and fans due to his actions both on and off the field.

Pochettino, who took over as PSG head coach in December following the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel, thinks otherwise.

The Parisians are two games away from back-to-back finals in the UEFA Champions League but English side Manchester City stand in their way.

Pochettino will need Neymar and his team-mates to bring their game face on against Pep Guardiola’s men across the tie.

The former Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and Espanyol manager hailed Neymar and insists he is a joy to coach.

“It’s so easy with Neymar because you don’t need to do too much,” Pochettino told the Guardian. “From day one, he’s been very open to work. He’s very humble, he listens and always accepts all the instructions in a very good way.

"Brazilian players have something special inside. They love to play football because it’s like a dance. They play like they are dancing. Ronaldinho was my team-mate when I was a PSG player and now Neymar. They need to feel good, to feel happy to perform in the best way.”
