The Norwegian coach said he expects Leeds United to test his men in West Yorkshire and has urged his men to focus on the game.
Manchester United have been in good form recently and are hoping to stage a coup against local rivals Manchester City to win the Premier League title.
Pep Guardiola’s men are eleven points ahead of the Red Devils, who have played a game lesser and will be looking to cut the Citizens’ lead to eight when they face the Peacocks.
"Inside the stadium there won't be any fans unfortunately, but obviously it is important we focus on our game," said Solskjaer in his press conference.
"Fans between our clubs always have a rivalry but it has to be healthy, which is important in a period like this.
"We have listened to the fans now and I'm so happy they have been heard. Now let's go onto the game of football
"That game [against Leeds in December] we started unbelievably well and we scored in the first two attacks. It was never a 6-2 win and I don't expect the same kind of score line.
"The difference between the teams was not four goals, we were clinical. We know we will be stretched physically and mentally in this game. It is a unique game."
