The Foxes are currently flying in the Premier League but face a daunting task against runaway league leaders, who Rodgers described as ‘outstanding.’
In his press conference ahead of the crunch encounter at the King Power Stadium, the former Liverpool and Celtic manager admits he expects a tough game against Guardiola’s men.
"They dominate the ball and are an outstanding team so that limits your time on the ball," said Rodgers.
"What is then important is how you attack. A team like ourselves will have the ball less than we are used to but when you do have it you have to use the space and attack with quality.
"They have the best manager in the world. We’re excited for the game. It’s a different game to what we usually play but we need to be effective when we have the ball."
Leicester will be seeking to finish in the top four for the first time since their title winning campaign, having missed out the chance to do so in the final game of last season.
"The players have been brilliant up until now," added Rodgers.
"Let’s see after the 38th game where we finish. We’ll enjoy it, focus on our own performance and see where that takes us."
