Failing to hide his emotions for the youngsters, Zidane expressed his happiness for the fast-rising forwards.
“I'm glad for them. Many times we forget that they are 18 years old [sic]," the Madrid coach told a news conference, via AS.
“We have seen the emotion they had of scoring in the [Santiago] Bernabeu. I like Rodrygo's goal.”
The French trainer also discussed how vital it was for the White Angels gaining the needed points at home as he also heaped praises on young midfielder Federico Valverde.
"We always try to give them confidence because they are very young boys," he said. "We are here for everyone to improve and I'm happy for him [Vinicius] because he needed this goal.
"We will continue now and try to rest well thinking we have a game on Saturday. It has been a good game in everything.
"Fede Valverde has played a great game and I'm glad because he is very young and has an extraordinary future."
After suffering a Champions League loss to Paris Saint-Germain, Real have recorded two straight wins but Zidane believes the side are yet to find their best form.

Real Madrid will look to extend their winning streak when they visit Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday.
Despite mixed results by the Los Blancos this season, they top the table with 14 points after six games, four points ahead rivals Barcelona who currently occupy the fifth position.
