The Nerazzurri sit at the summit of Serie A but Cassano believes the Italian top-flight is an average league.
Inter Milan, who have been knocked out of the Champions League and Coppa Italia, currently enjoy a four-point lead over local rivals AC Milan.
In Conte’s post match interview with the media after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Genoa on Sunday, the former Chelsea boss said his team could have had ‘their say’ had they qualified for the knockout phase of the Champions League.
While speaking to Bobo TV on Twitch, Cassano slammed Conte for his comments and insists he is unimpressed by the way his former team play.
“Did Conte understand he is not Guardiola? Have his say in the Champions League? Come on. I am not dumb. Serie A is mediocre; Europe is something else. Inter are not dominating,” the 38-year-old said.
“They’ve been playing differently with Eriksen, they seem more solid, but they don’t play great football. Atalanta do.
“Inter sit deep and wait for their opponents’ move, then they try to reach Lukaku with long balls.
“Inter must win the title. They are going to win it. But they don’t play well.
“If Conte made serious mistakes, it’s only his fault. Inter were ridiculous in Champions League. They finished behind Shakhtar.”
