Pogba has not featured for Manchester United since playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Southampton on the last day of August.
Pogba was seen hobbling with an ankle injury towards the end of the game and subsequently pulled out of the France squad for UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying games against Albania and Andorra.
The 26-year-old has missed games against Leicester City, Astana and West Ham United but Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed his return to action ahead of the home games against Rochdale in the League Cup on Wednesday and Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday.
"He'll probably get some minutes against Rochdale," Solskjaer said on United's official website.
"But we definitely think he's ready for Arsenal."
Manchester United have lacked creativity in the middle of the park in Pogba’s absence, posing unconvincing wins against Leicester City and Astana before losing to West Ham United at the weekend.
The Red Devils have been beset with injuries in recent times losing the likes of Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford to the treatment table.
Manchester United are eighth on the Premier League table with two wins, two draws and two losses from their six games.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are looking to improve upon last season’s sixth place finish that saw them miss out on this season’s UEFA Champions League.
