Cisse believes his compatriot’s style of play suits the English football and could easily improve playing at Anfield.
Mbappe has always been linked with a move to other big European clubs ever since he established himself as one of the best footballers in the world.
The 2018 World Cup winner was linked with Real Madrid at some point and recent rumours are linking him to the Reds.
His contract with the Parisians will come to an end in the summer of 2022, but the 22-year-old has recently welcomed the possibility of extending his stay at Parc des Princes.
However, Cisse, who once played for the Merseyside-based club at some point during his career, has insisted that Mbappe would be tailor-made for the English football.
“Kylian Mbappe suits the English style of football and he would fit into Liverpool’s system well,” Cisse told William Hill.
“The Kop would absolutely love him because they want players with a fighting spirit and a direct style of play that can always make something happen with them in the side.”
“He’s not the type of player who plays the ball side-to-side. He is always going to use the ball and go at players in a one-v-one situation and make things happen. He is always going to create chances.”
“I think he would do very well at Liverpool, so we’ll see what happens. If I had the chance to meet him and speak to him, then I would give him the advice to go.”
“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and he wouldn’t regret it.”
