The Spain international has been a regular starter for Manchester United since his big move from Atletico Madrid ahead of the 2011-2012 season.
The 30-year-old made his 327th league appearance in the 2-1 victory over Aston Villa earlier this month.
He also moved into fifth place in the club’s all-time English top-flight appearance chart behind Wayne Rooney (393), Gary Neville (400), Paul Scholes (499), and Ryan Giggs (632).
“I’m very, very proud to reach that number of games,” De Gea told the club’s official website. “It’s great for me. I feel good, confident and proud.
“I’ve played a lot of games but hopefully like I said there are many more to come.
“I’m feeling very well. I’m training hard, feeling sharp and confident in the games. When you feel well and train well then in the games it’s easy to play.
“You have to be focused of course and always play at 100 percent and helping the team is the most important thing. The team is winning and in good form so everything at the moment is good.”
