Seaman, who is considered as Arsenal legend after playing over 400 league matches for the Gunners, has urged the club to stick with the Spanish tactician.
“I like how he speaks, and my friends give me great reports of what he does at the training ground,” Seaman said on Arteta as quoted by the Mirror.
“For me, he needs to stay and the club need to back him in getting the players he wants.”
“At the moment, there are a few players at Arsenal that maybe need to leave to create funds to get better players.”
Arsenal will hope to get back to winning ways when they face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup quarterfinal on Tuesday.
