Solskjaer Demands More From Daniel James

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has urged in-form Daniel James to continue with his impressive display for the season.

Joining the Red Devils from Swansea City in the close season, James has had a glittering start to life at the club, scoring 3 goals in United’s first four games of the season.

And with his spectacular display winning him the club’s Player of the Month for August, Solskjaer is impelling the 21- year-old to improve on his current form.

“He's had a great start and transferring that into the Wales games is great for him and great for Giggsy [Wales boss Ryan Giggs]," Solskjaer told United's official app.

“I just hope he [James] feels that there's more to come. We feel there's more to come. He's had a great start, but it's just the start of his career."

Recording seven assists with 4 goals in thirty-three Championship games last season with Swansea City, James caught the eye of the United hierarchy as he was signed as an alternative to Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams.

Man United recruited the Welsh youngster for a reported fee of £15 million, penning a five –year contract with the club.

As part of United’s summer signings, James arrival caught many by surprise, but the former Swansea City man has justified why he deserves to wear the red shirt with his stunning performances.

With United witnessing a poor start to the Premier League season, Solskjaer will be expecting to turn the results around in the subsequent games.

Making his competitive debut for the side, James played a role when United defeated Chelsea 4-0 in their opening game of the season as he scored the last goal after coming off the bench.
