Jorginho has been involved in two Premier League games for Chelsea this season but he is widely linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
He was an unused substitute in Chelsea’s 3-3 draw against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns over the weekend.
The Brazilian-born Italian was named vice captain following the arrival of coach Frank Lampard last summer.
Jorginho played 44 times for Chelsea in all competitions in the 2019/2020 season but his future in West London has been uncertain since the departure of Maurizio Sarri.
PSG are said to be mulling over the possibility of snapping the former Napoli man on loan, with Arsenal also willing to bring in the 28-year-old if their pursuit of Olympique Lyonnais’s Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey fails.
“Jorginho still has a three-year contract with Chelsea, this plus two. I feel a lot of talk about Arsenal and PSG in the last few days. But the reality is that up to now, no official offer has arrived for the player,” Santos revealed.
“The transfer market closes on 5 October. But the more time passes the more difficult it becomes to make such an important operation. So at the moment, I can say that it is just rumors.”
“He is happy at Chelsea. He started the season well. And being the vice-captain at the moment he is focused exclusively on Chelsea,” he added.
