Pulisic was handed the number 22 jersey after completing a big-money move from Borussia Dortmund at the start of last season and impressed in his debut season in England.
The 21-year-old United States of America international battled a number of niggling injuries but still managed to score 11 goals and provide 10 assists across 34 appearances in all competitions.
Pulisic’s performances earned him a nomination for the Premier League young player of the season and he has been rewarded with the iconic jersey number for the upcoming season.
The number became vacant after Willian completed a free transfer to London rivals Arsenal following seven seasons at Stamford Bridge.
Some past bearers of Chelsea’s number 10 jersey include Eden Hazard, Juan Mata and Joe Cole.
New signing Kai Havertz will wear his favourite number 29 jersey, meaning Fikayo Tomori has had to change to number 14.
Hakim Ziyech will take over Pulisic’s old number 22 jersey while Thiago Silva will don the number six shirt.
Timo Werner will inherit the number 11 jersey vacated by Pedro Rodriguez, who has joined Italian Serie A side AS Roma.
Chelsea will begin their Premier League campaign away at Brighton and Hove Albion on Monday.
