Bosnia took the lead through their familiar source Eden Dzeko but Stefano Sensi made sure the points were shared at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence.
The Netherlands on the other hand oversaw a stern competition from Poland at the Johan Cruyff Arena thanks to Steven Bergwijn’s lone goal.
Mancini was not happy with his team’s display against the Bosnians and has urged them to improve their game in order to beat the Oranje.
“I hope my team will play well and be positive, the way they were against Bosnia, even if some things didn’t quite go to plan in that game,” the former Inter Milan and Manchester City coach told football Italia in his press conference.
“We must try to get the victory. It would’ve been better to have played in October, especially as we are still without the fans.”
Giorgio Chiellini was omitted from the starting lineup in Italy’s draw against Bosnia on Friday and Mancini blamed ‘a lack of glasses’ for the Juventus man’s omission.
The Italian coach has confirmed that Chiellini will start against the Netherlands.
“I can confirm four of the starting XI tomorrow, which will be Gianluigi Donnarumma, Giorgio Chiellini, Jorginho and Ciro Immobile,” the Italian coach added.
