The 29-year-old secured a move to play for the Merseyside-based club until the summer of 2023 for an undisclosed fee.
Allan is Everton’s first summer signing, but the Toffees are said to be close to securing the services of Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure from Championship side Watford.
Having spent five years in Naples the former Vasco da Gama and Udinese midfielder has labeled the city as special.

He featured 212 times for the Partenopei scoring eleven times and providing 16 assists, winning only the Coppa Italia in his last season.
