Man United Fans Demand Pogba Exit With Graffiti Post

Some incensed Manchester United fans have graffitied the words ‘Pogba Out’ on a sign post erected outside the club’s Carrington training grounds.

Pogba has come in for renewed criticism after missing a penalty in last week’s 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

The former Juventus midfielder was subjected to racist online abuse in the aftermath of the miss, and teammate Marcus Rashford suffered similar vilification after he also fluffed his lines from the spot in Saturday’s 2-1 home loss to Crystal Palace.

The black and white sign post which reads: "Players are not permitted to stop and sign autographs due to danger on the road. No congregating," was erected just two weeks ago by the club but has now been defaced by the graffiti.

Pogba has been the subject of intense transfer speculation linking him with moves to Real Madrid and former club Juventus in this summer’s transfer window.

The 26-year-old French world cup winner has done little to silence those exit rumors after admitting in June that he would like to seek a new challenge elsewhere.

Although the transfer window in England has closed, clubs around Europe can still sign players from the Premier League until September 2, making Pogba’s exit still likely.

Pogba came under intense criticism after a mixed 2018/2019 season at Manchester United that began with a fractured relationship with former manager Jose Mourinho before the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as interim manager saw an improvement in his performances.

Despite his up-and-down season, Pogba finished the 2018/2019 campaign as Manchester United’s top scorer with 13 league goals and nine assists; good enough to earn him a place in the PFA Team of the year.
