The Brazil superstar played an instrumental role as PSG reached their first Champions League final last season, where they lost out to German champions Bayern Munich by a solitary goal.
Neymar has been linked with a return to Barcelona in recent seasons and Real Madrid have also been credited with an audacious approach for his services.
However, a combination of the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic and the current turmoil in Barcelona have seen those rumours die down recently.
Neymar has spoken of his desire to remain at the Parc des Princes and help PSG hoist Europe’s most coveted club honour.
"I am staying at PSG next season," Neymar said to PSG’s official club magazine.
"And with the ambition to return to the Champions League final, this time to win it.
"I like this idea of doing everything to leave my name in the history books of my club. If people were doubting the presence of PSG as a great European club, those doubts died in Lisbon.
"We left this city with the feeling of being renewed and confidence in our capacity to win it one day to write an even greater history."
Neymar added: "By returning from Lisbon, in the plane on the way back, we were already excited to see each other again in Paris. I will never forget what we shared with this squad. It has formed a family and I am proud."
Neymar made 27 appearances and scored 19 goals in all competitions for PSG last season.
