Zaha has been yearning for a move away from the Selhurst Park since last summer and Crystal Palace head coach Roy Hodgson recently in an interview revealed that the Ivory Coast international wants to move away from South London as he wants to join a more prominent club.
Clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund together with Arsenal, who were close to singing Zaha before the beginning of the 2019/2020 season, are said to have been on red alert to secure the services of the former Manchester United man.
Everton finished 12th in the 2019-2020 Premier League season, and are hoping to bolster their squad to compete for the upcoming season.
Saha, who played for Everton between 2008 and 2012, believes Zaha will improve the Toffees and has urged Carlo Ancelotti to sign the Ivorian.
“Wilfried Zaha is a player who is capable of playing everywhere, he’s such a good player,” Saha said, as relayed by the Express Sport.
“He’s improved a lot since being back at Crystal Palace. Everton is a club that offers the perfect environment for good players who want to reach another level.
“If you want to improve your game, the foundations are there at Everton for you to achieve this.
“When I joined Everton, I found players and staff around me who had a desire to win trophies and improve the club’s infrastructure.
“I think Zaha would feel the same way if he joined Everton.”
