Bosz has admitted that the Serie A side are a very good side but insists his men have the requisite wherewithal to progress at the expense of Antonio Conte’s men.
Bayer Leverkusen progressed to the quarter-final stage of the competition by beating Scottish side Rangers 4-1 on aggregate whereas Inter Milan defeated La Liga side Getafe 2-0 in a one-off game to reach the last eight.
Despite all the bookies tipping the Nerazzurri to beat Die Werkself, Bosz is adamant his side are capable of defying the odds to progress to the next round of the Europa League.
“We have seen from their performances in Italy and Europe that Inter are a very strong side, but we have what it takes to beat them,” the Dutch tactician said in his press conference ahead of the game.
“We need to put in an excellent performance without making mistakes because every error could be very costly indeed.”
“I don’t want to talk about tactics, because all that interests me is my players. We want to be protagonists of this tournament and we’ll see what happens tomorrow."
