The Blaugrana have booked a date with the Bavarians in Portugal on Friday, August 14 in a one-off clash, and Setien reveals he is already looking forward to meeting the Germans.
After missing out on the La Liga title this season, Barcelona are looking to atone for their sins by winning the Champions League in Lisbon, but face a daunting task of beating a Bayern Munich side who have won all their Champions league games this season.
Despite the German champions’ good form, Setien thinks the game will be as complicated for the Hans-Dieter Flick’s men as it will be for his side.
“All of the opponents are strong and all of the games will be difficult," the former Real Betis head coach said when asked about the prospect of facing Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.
"It will be difficult for us and for them. They're a great team, but we are too."
Lionel Messi was at the heart of Barcelona’s ruthless display in the first-half against Napoli but caused some concerns when he went down under a challenge from Kalidou Koulibaly.
“He looked fine to me," the 61-year-old Spaniard stated. "It was a hard blow, but I don't think there's a problem."
