The Parisians are chasing their fourth major trophy of the season after securing the Ligue 1, Coupe de la Ligue and Coupe de France.
Having already booked a date with Atalanta in the Champions League quarter-final after beating Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16 stage, Neymar believes this could be the year PSG hoist their most coveted trophy.
“We want to mark this season with the Champions. We will fight for this because we were never so close,” the Brazilian told the club’s official website.
Neymar joined the French side from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 for a world record fee of €222 million.
Despite having a stupendous record since donning the PSG shirt, Neymar’s career has been somewhat curtailed with injuries.
The 28-year-old has thanked his team-mates for helping him to remain focused during his complicated days.
“These three years came with a lot of knowledge. I’ve lived times of joy and some complicated ones, especially when I was unable to play due to injuries,” he added.
“With my teammates’ help, I was able to overcome and focus on what really matters for everyone, which is our performance in the field translated into titles.”
“Our supporters, the club, and every fan can see our team’s delivery in any game.”
“I believe that today I live my best moment in Paris. We form a family on behalf of the greater objective we have ahead of us.”
