Jose Mourinho’s men emerged victorious on the day thanks to Michael Keane’s first half own goal but the hosts nearly conceded an equaliser to Richarlison on the cusp of the break.
Lloris charged towards Son at half-time as the two teams made their way towards the dressing room and had to be separated by their teammates to prevent matters from boiling over.
“It belongs in the changing room,” Lloris told Sky Sports of the incident after the game.
“Outside, you can say whatever you want. There is a lot of respect between the players in the changing room.
“What happened between me and Sonny is just something that's part of football sometimes. But there's no problem at all.
“You could see at the end of the game we were more than happy to be part of the team and to have the three points.
“To concede a chance a few seconds before half-time because we don't press properly... yeah, it annoyed me, but it's part of football. We move on.”
Tottenham’s victory over the Toffees has taken them up to eighth on the Premier League table with just five games remaining.
Tottenham will travel to Bournemouth in their next league game on Thursday.
