The 27-year-old Moroccan international has already agreed a €40m transfer to English Premier League side Chelsea.
Ziyech made 35 appearances in all competitions for Ajax before the 2019/2020 season was ended early in Netherlands with no winners declared because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The former Heerenveen forward contributed nine goals and 18 assists in all competitions for Ajax and has been awarded the ‘Rinus Michels’ trophy for the third straight season.
He is the first player to win the award three times despite Ajax boasting some incredible talent over the past years including Barcelona’s Luis Suarez, Matthijs de Ligt, Frenkie de Jong and Wesley Sneijder.
"It’s a bit strange," said Ziyech. "You know that everything comes to an end, but it’s a strange way of closing this chapter.
"I am happy to take the next step, but you don’t want to end it like this. It feels as if you didn’t pass the exams, that’s how it feels. You’re powerless. It doesn’t feel like the season ended successfully."
Ziyech joined Ajax from FC Twente in the summer of 2016 and was instrumental in the club winning the Eredivisie and Dutch cup last season as well as reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. He was also part of the Ajax side who lost to Manchester United in the 2017 Europa League final.
