Dybala Makes Full Recovery From Coronavirus

Juventus have confirmed that Argentina forward Paulo Dybala has ‘finally’ recovered from coronavirus.

Dybala together with his girlfriend Oriana Sabatini tested positive for Covid-19 in March, becoming the third Juventus’ player to be infected after Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi.

However, Rugani and Matuidi recovered from the virus one month later but it took the Argentine much longer to recover.

The former Palermo man's two latest tests came back negative for COVID-19, after last week’s reports stated that Dybala had still tested positive.

The 26-year-old will no longer be subjected to the home isolation regime according to a statement released by the Serie A champions.

The statement read: "Paulo Dybala performed, as per protocol, a double check with diagnostic tests (swabs) for Coronavirus-Covid-19, which came back with negative results.”

"The player has, therefore, recovered and will no longer be subjected to the home isolation regime."

Dybala also confirmed the news by posting a picture of himself on his Instagram account on Wednesday with the caption: "My face says it all, I'm finally cured from Covid-19."

Dybala will now be able to resume training individually at the Bianconeri's training facility.

The Argentine has been one of Juventus’ best performers this season, having scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists across 34 games in all competitions.
