There are still nine matchdays to fulfill in the Bundesliga, with Bayern Munich top of the table, four points clear of second placed Borussia Dortmund.
Coutinho, who is on a season-long loan from Spanish champions Barcelona, has made 32 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring nine goals.
The 27-year-old’s future has been shrouded in mystery in recent weeks with reports indicating that Bayern Munich are unwilling to exercise their option to purchase him permanently from Barcelona.
Barcelona are willing to offload the services of the former Liverpool man, and he has been linked with a return to England as Chelsea are reportedly interested in bringing him to Stamford Bridge.
