Kane recently admitted he would not mind leaving North London in an interview and Neville believes the England marksman would be a perfect signing for the Red Devils.
According to media reports, Manchester United is one of the front-runners for his signature, as club chairman Daniel Levy is open to selling one of his biggest assets for a world-record fee of £200m due to the coronavirus crisis.
Neville is unsurprised by his former club’s interest in Kane as he believes they are known for always chasing homegrown stars.
"Any club in the Premier League would want Harry Kane," he told The Football Show on Sky Sports News.
"There are some signings that are like gold, where you just know they are going to work. Harry Kane is unbreakable in the sense of his mentality.”
“He'll always score goals, will always give 100 per cent in training, and is completely reliable as a manager would want.”
"For Manchester United, it would be a perfect signing in terms of what they need," he explained.
"They had Bruno Fernandes come in and he's done a great job, Harry Maguire at the back.’
“If they can get someone like Kane up front, you're looking at a fantastic spine."
Kane graduated from the Tottenham academy in 2009 and after a series of loan spells across England, the 26-year-old has established himself as one of the most prolific goalscorers in the world over the past six years.
He has scored 181 goals in 278 games for the Lilywhites in all competitions and he won the World Cup Golden Boot in Russia, becoming the first Englishman to do so since Gary Lineker in 1986.
