Kaka Names His Best And Worst Career Moments

Former Brazil superstar Kaka has happily admitted that most of his best moments in his distinguished career were at AC Milan.

Kaka enjoyed two spells with AC Milan from 2003 to 2009 when he was signed from his boyhood club Sao Paulo and on a free transfer in 2013 to 2014 after his poor stint at Real Madrid.

In his first spell in Milan, the Brazilian helped the Rossoneri to a Champions League win against Liverpool in 2007 at the Olympic Stadium in Athens.

Kaka was named FIFA World Player of the Year in 2007 and the winner of the Ballon d’Or in that same year after a standout performance in the 2006-2007 season.

The 37-year-old spoke to FIFA’s official Instagram in a QA session with fans, and was asked about the best moment of his career. Kaka was reticent at first but ended up choosing his time with the Milan-based club.

He said: “I don’t have a single moment, but most of the best moments in my career were at Milan: the Champions League trophy in 2007, the Club World Cup, the Ballon d’Or and the FIFA Player of the Year Award.”

However, Kaka was also asked about the worst moment of his career, and without mincing words, the former Orlando City man, was quick to also mention his time with AC Milan when they lost to Liverpool in Istanbul.

“Istanbul in 2005. I need say no more than that.”

Milan were leading that Champions League final 3-0 at halftime before the Reds scored three goals in six second half minutes, and the Italians eventually lost on penalties.
