The 28-year-old had a successful 2018-19 season where he scored 14 Premier League goals in 30 games, but Wilson’s stock has plummeted this season, as he has scored nine goals and provided only one assist in all competitions for the Cherries.
Wilson was heavily linked with a move to some of the big guns in English football last season, but a move away from the Vitality Stadium could not materialize.
The former Coventry man has scored three goals in his last six matches for Eddie Howe’s men, having gone four months without a goal.
His return to form has rekindled speculations over his future in Boscombe.
Wilson says although news linking him to Chelsea and the Red Devils is flattering, he does not deserve that move.
Of course it is flattering, they are great clubs, massive clubs in the league," the Englishman told Sky Sports.
"There were links and talks but I'm not one to read papers or listen to too much news. But you hear it from people - from friends, from family - and it only encourages me to do well really.”
"Last season, my performances were quite consistent and when there were links, I tried to stay at a certain level and play well.”
"Any player would like to play in the Champions League and progress, that's what I've based my whole career on.”
"First and foremost is obviously keeping Bournemouth up and safe and I haven't been good enough this season to even be talking about things like that.”
"I put it to the back of my mind and tried to focus on myself.”
