Raiola Keen To Bring A ‘Champion’ To Real Madrid

Agent Mino Raiola has revealed that he is keen to take one of his high-profile clients to Real Madrid this summer, sparking another speculation over Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United.

Despite working with big name players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marco Verratti, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Matthijs de Ligt, Erling Haaland and Mario Balotelli, it is Pogba who has been previously linked with Los Blancos.

The infamous agent said he has a very good relationship with the La Liga outfit and insists he will help them get a champion very soon.

“My relationship with Real Madrid is very good,” the Italian told Marca.

“I often speak to José Angel, it’s interesting, as well as a pleasure, to talk to him about football and the events related to FIFA.”

“One day I hope to bring a great champion to Real. At the moment, I have [Alphonse] Areola, but it’s on loan. This summer I would like to bring a big player to Madrid on a permanent deal.”

“It would be a pride for me and for all my players, because Real are a great side.”

Raiola was asked if Pogba was the one he was referring to but the 52-year-old was reticent and insists he does not know the future of the Frenchman.

“I can’t know what will happen in the future. In the past, there was a great interest in him, but nothing was done. The present and the future is what counts,” he added.

“Paul is going through a delicate moment, but I want to highlight, because in England they are very sensitive about this, that he is focused on United.”

“They want to finish the season on a high and bring the team to the Champions League.”
