The former Everton forward has been heavily linked with a move away from the Old Trafford with Inter Milan as the potential suitors.
Lukaku, in April made no secret of his desire to play in the Italian Serie A when quizzed if he fancies a move to the Serie A.
"Why not? I hope it happens,"
"Juve have a great project in place and they just keep going. Every year they try to get stronger.
"Without doubt, Juve are one of the two or three best teams in Europe. They've got a great coach on the bench and extraordinary players in every area of the team.
"Cristiano Ronaldo stands out, but watch out for the others too. Paulo Dybala is already impressive and getting stronger, while I love Douglas Costa."
The Belgian centre forward joined Manchester United from Everton in the summer of 2017 as he impressed in his first season with 27 goals in 51 appearances.
But has struggled to find a place in the first team following the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, playing second fiddle role to Marcus Rashford.
During the 2018/19 campaign, Lukaku netted just 15 times in all competitions for the Old Trafford outfit.
And with the transfer window still in progress, a move for the 26-year-old is still possible as Conte previously regarded him as an important prospect to fit his squad.
"Lukaku is a player of Manchester United," Inter boss Conte told reporters. "I know him very well from the days when I was the coach of Chelsea, but today he is a player of Manchester, this is the truth.
"I like him as a player and I consider him an important element for us to have a good improvement but at the same there is a transfer market.
"We know very well our situation at the moment and we will see what happens but for now Lukaku is a United player.
"For sure it's not easy to play without a striker at the beginning of the season like this. The market is still open."
