Hazard is set to undergo surgery in Dallas, USA on Thursday after he was diagnosed with a fracture to his right distal fibula, following an injury picked during Real Madrid’s 1-0 loss against Levante on February 22.
Martinez was speaking to the media during the draw for the UEFA Nations League group stage, and he revealed that the former Lille man will be seen in a Real Madrid shirt before the end of the season.
"I have no doubt he'll be there," the former Wigan and Everton boss said.
"The recovery deadlines are impossible to determine because you have to see the operation and determine the deadlines from there."
“The first two weeks are important, but knowing Eden and how he's worked on other small injuries he has had, we are sure that we will have him with us [at Euro 2020].”
"We'll see him in Real Madrid's shirt before the national team's shirt.”
"Eden is very calm and very positive," Martinez added.
"Real Madrid's medical team are very happy with the idea of having the surgery and from here, we have to go step by step."
This has been another setback for Hazard this season, yet Martinez is convinced that the 29-year-old will come back better than ever
He said: "What we have to do is make him come back even stronger and more eager to win more matches with Real Madrid and the national team, which I am sure will be the case.”
The Belgian joined Los Blancos from Chelsea last summer, but injuries have limited Hazard to only 15 games, scoring one goal so far for his club.
