Eriksen joined the Serie A outfit in the winter transfer window for a fee around £16.9m.
The former Ajax man spent six-and-a-half years in North London, scoring 51 goals in his 226 Premier League appearances.
Inter Milan currently sit second on the league log with 51 points and are three points behind leaders Juventus.
The Nerazzurri managed to dispose Juventus to attain top spot during the middle of the season, but could not hold firm on their lead.
The Denmark international made his debut for Inter Milan in a 2-0 win against Udinese at the Stadio Friuli on Sunday.
Sensi has insisted the acquisition of Eriksen can help the Milan-based club to leapfrog Juventus to the Serie A title.
“We will do our best to keep up with Juventus,” the former Sassuolo and Cesena man told Sky Sport Italia.
“Lazio are also doing well. We work to evict our mistakes and to score points.”
“Eriksen can give us that little bit extra. He has been a top player for years, now he will have to settle down. He joined us, we talk to him.”
“He is showing us his qualities on the pitch. He can lift us.”
