Mauricio Pochettino Reveals His Next Destination

Former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has given a clue as to where he will be managing next.

Pochettino has been without a club since he was sacked as Tottenham Hotspur manager last November after a poor start to the season.

The Argentine has been constantly linked with replacing Hansi Flick at Bayern Munich, who is serving as an interim manager until the end of the season following the sacking of Niko Kovac.

Pochettino was also linked with clubs like Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain as the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Thomas Tuchel are under intense pressure to deliver.

The 47-year-old was speaking at the London launch of La Liga TV and has revealed what he does during his ongoing sabbatical.

“Now I am watching a lot of football and spending time with my family,” the former Espanyol manager said.

“I was lucky to start my career as a manager with Espanyol.”

“Then I came to the Premier League, to England, learned English and a different culture.”

“I am a better person today, with more knowledge and I had a great experience in the Premier League.”

“Football was born here in England. But La Liga is amazing football, with amazing coaches.”

“Of course, as a coach, you try to be in the best place. And England and Spain are the two best leagues in the world.”
