Henderson has been one of the most underrated players in the world, as his services in a team that has many superstars are barely noticed.
The former Benfica and Sporting CP manager recently watched Henderson from the touchline, as his Flamengo side lost to Liverpool in the Club World Cup final.
It took a moment of brilliance from Roberto Firmino during extra time before the Reds were crowned world champions.
Despite the Brazilian’s spectacular performance against Flamengo, it was the 29-year-old who was praised by Jesus.
The Portuguese coach is a big admirer of Henderson and insists he is irreplaceable in Jurgen Klopp’s team.
"Henderson is the best midfielder in the world in his position," the 65-year-old said on CMTV.
"[Jurgen Klopp] never sacks him, but the two offensive midfielders, [Naby] Keita and [Georginio] Wijnaldum, sometimes are replaced. The other players are always the same."
Henderson have been the most ever-present player at Anfield since he joined the Merseyside based club from Sunderland in 2011.
The Englishman could become the first ever Liverpool captain to lift the Premier League, as Klopp’s men are seeking to bring the title to Anfield for the first time.
