Pogba, who emerged as Manchester United's top scorer last term, delights in playing elsewhere, having stressed he thinks the time is now for him to face a new challenge.
Though the player's agent, Mino Raiola previously revealed his client is eager to leave the Old Trafford.
“Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.
"Everyone within the club, from the manager to the owner, knows Paul's wishes."
But no club has been able to meet the asking price by Manchester United, leaving his potential move hanging in a balance.
And Sarri, who took charge as Juventus boss last month has commended the uncertain midfielder's qualities as he opened the door to a potential transfer.
"I like him very much, but he's a Manchester United player," Sarri told a news conference.
"I'm not the technical director [Fabio Paratici] so I don't know the situation."
After disclosing his desire for a new challenge, Pogba has been linked with Barcelona, Real Madrid and a return to his former club Juventus.
Manchester United signed the World Cup winner in 2016 for a fee of €105 million (£89.3 million) plus bonuses of €5 million, signing a five-year contract with the 2017 Europa League winners.
Pogba scored 13 goals with nine assists in the 2018/19 Premier League season for Manchester United.
