The 30-year-old is under constant criticisms at the Spanish capital despite winning every trophy with Los Blancos since his then world record move from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.
Bale was recently seen celebrating in front of a flag that read: ‘Wales, Golf, Madrid, in that order’ during the Dragons EURO 2020 qualifying win over Hungary last month.
The former Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur man was slammed by pundits and Real Madrid’s fans, and was whistled at when he made his first appearance at the Bernabeu after the flag celebration.
Bale has admitted that it was tough for him to deal with the whistles at first, but he has now acclimatized to such hostile receptions.
"The first time it happened, it was a bit of a shock," the Welshman told BT Sport.
"I didn't really know how to deal with it but, as I've got older and it's happened one or two more times, you understand how to deal with it.”
"Now, I just shrug it off. In a way, it's a kind of respect to show that the best players get whistled if they don't perform, which I understand.”
"I just have to keep working hard, keep proving again to the fans what I can do and eventually the whistles do stop and you get on with your career like normal."
