Cristiano Ronaldo’s blockbuster move to Al-Nassr at the start of the year looks to have triggered a series of transfers of some of Europe’s best talent to the Gulf State in recent weeks.
The likes of Karim Benzema and N’golo Kante have all sealed moves to champions Al-Ittihad while the next few days will see deals completed by various Saudi Arabian clubs for Chelsea trio Edouard Mendy, Hakim Ziyech and Kalidou Koilibaly.
Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Ruben Neves is all but certain to join Al Hilal whiles Arsenal’s Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey could leave the Emirates Stadium for Saudi Arabian suitors.
Son has been linked with Al-Ittihad but the South Korean captain says he has an unfinished business in the Premier League and intends to stay with Tottenham Hotspurs.
"I have many things to do in the Premier League," he said.
"Money doesn't matter to me now, and the pride of playing football, to play in my favourite league is important."
Son scored 10 Premier League goals last season, becoming the first Asian player to score 100 goals in the English top flight in the process.
The 30-year-old will be embarking on his ninth season in English football next season.
