Jorginho has been included in the 30-man list to compete for the ultimate.
After winning the UEFA Men’s Player Of The Year, award, the former Napoli midfielder would want to be named the new Ballon d'Or winner.
"Who doesn’t dream of that? Dreaming small and dreaming big are the same thing, so it’s better to dream big…"
“I always want to play and to be able to help the team," Jorginho said at a press conference.
"All these games every three days makes it hard to train and recover, but I’m fine.
“We have just lost a game, we have a desire to win again. We have this winning mentality here and for me, tomorrow’s match represents an opportunity. We want to win again."
Speaking of Italy's UEFA Nations League semi-final loss to Spain, Jorginho believes the Azzurri struggled to dominate the game.
"In the European Championship, we struggled much more,” Jorginho continued. “On Wednesday we were in good shape, we were recovering well.
"Then the details change the course of the match at this level."
Jorginho was an integral figure during Italy's Euro 2020 truimph and also helped Chelsea to win the Champions League trophy last term.
The 29-year-old has featured in all Chelsea's seven Premier League games this season as the Blues top the table with 16 points.
