The pacey forward left Juventus in 2019 but failed to glitter in spells with Everton and Paris Saint-Germain.
Having experienced limited game time at Everton, Kean considered a loan move to PSG as the right place to gain more first team opportunities but was once again denied a starting berth at the Parc des Princes.
And being re-signed by Juventus as a replacement for departed Cristiano Ronaldo, Kean who was on target for the Italy national team in a World Cup qualifier against Lithuania insisted he has come back to the Italy squad with ‘new objectives and a new mentality’
“It was important to get back in this shirt and give 100 per cent for the jersey, as it means so much to me every time,” Kean told RAI Sport.
“It was not easy to be at home watching the Euros, but I was always in front of the television cheering on my teammates. They brought home the trophy for Italy and that’s what matters.
“It’s all about hard work, how professionally I approach it. My teammates gave me a warm welcome, I am working every day and returned with new objectives, a new mentality, and I’m always ready to help my teammates.
“It helped me so much, as I was working alongside great players and learning all the time. There’s a lot of work to be done now in Turin and I will give 100 per cent in every training session.”
