Havertz says the last season’s victory in Europe’s premier club competition is not enough for his team-mates.
Chelsea endured a yo-yoing campaign in the 2020/2021 season under two head coaches Frank Lampard and Thomas Tuchel.
A fairly bright start to the season took a hit during the festive period under the English manager which forced the club board to replace him with Tuchel.
The German coach quickly steadied the ship and returned the winning mentality to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea ended the season winning the Champions League.
Tuchel’s men are said to be on the verge of bolstering their squad with the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
Havertz, who scored the only goal in the final against Manchester City, has fired warning to Chelsea’s rivals by insisting they will be out chasing all the titles.
“We all dreamed of winning the Champions League one day, and of course now we have to prove it again and again,” Havertz said in an interview with the club’s website.
“I think we have all a lot of goals this season. The Champions League title is not enough for us, we want to win more and that’s our aim for the season.
“We have a very good squad, we have good players. That is the same for the pre-season, that everybody will be fit and that we are ready to play.”
