Pochettino Shys Away From Pogba's Transfer To PSG

Mauricio Pochettino has denied to talk of rumours linking Paul Pogba to his team Paris Saint-Germain.

Pogba is in his last year of his Man United contract and has been reluctant to pen an extension with the Red Devils.

When quizzed on a possible transfer for Pogba to Parc de Princes, Pochettino answered;

“You see the list of players that we have at home,” Pochettino said.

“We have plenty of players. Half of the squad is at home. A few are on holidays.

“I think the performance was good. I am happy and I don’t want to talk about the names of the players that are in other clubs.”

The French midfielder has been linked with a move back to his homeland to join PSG this summer but a deal is yet to be struck.

However, reports are that the former Juventus man has already agreed personal terms with PSG, but negotiations between both clubs are yet to be concluded.

And with the World Cup winner turning down a new long-term deal worth £350,000-per-week from United indicates he is set to exit the club.

PSG are keen to shell-out £43 million for the services of Pogba, an amount Manchester United are not willing to accept as they plan to keep their star man for the upcoming season.

PSG in view of strengthen their squad have already signed Georginio Wijnaldum and Sergio Ramos to bolster their midfield and defence departments respectively, but the arrival of Pogba would be a huge boost for the Parisians as they look to reclaim the Ligue 1 title from champions Lille.
