Evra believes his compatriot is a complete center-back and has drawn comparisons with the former England defender.

Having won everything with the Los Blancos during his ten-year stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, the 28-year-old has welcome the idea of testing himself in the Premier League.
Evra saw Varane during his early days with Les Bleus and insists he was impressed with the former Lens man.
The 42-year-old, who played for Manchester United between 2006 and 2014, believes his former club has done a good job by securing the services of Varane.
“Varane reminds me of Rio Ferdinand. Great with the ball, great in the air. He’s the complete centre-back,” the former Juventus and Monaco left-back told The Athletic.
“I remember when I was on an international duty with the French national team and I was so impressed. He was so young yet so good with the ball, so fast and his anticipation was perfect.
“He’s calm with the ball and he can score too. It’s a top, top signing for Manchester United.”
Varane played 360 games in all competitions for Real Madrid. He scored 17 goals, provided seven assists and won 18 trophies in the process.
