PSG Fans Display Anti-Pogba Banner At Parc De Princes

Some section of Paris Saint-Germain fans have protested against the potential signing of Paul Pogba with a banner at the Parc de Princes.

The French midfielder has been linked with a move back to his homeland to join PSG this summer as he enters into the final part of his current contract with Manchester United.

Reports are that the former Juventus man has already agreed personal terms with PSG, but negotiations between both clubs are yet to be concluded.

And with the World Cup winner turning down a new long-term deal worth £350,000-per-week from United indicates he is set to exit the club.

PSG are keen to cough-out £43m for the services of Pogba, an amount Manchester United are not willing to accept as they plan to keep their star man for the upcoming season.

However, part of the PSG fans are not ready to welcome the arrival of the midfielder into the team despite the club hierarchy showing much interest in adding him to their current squad as they chase for a Champions League trophy this term.

Images released by French outlet RMC Sport, banners outside the stadium and training centre said; "Pogba you should listen to your mother, she doesn’t want you here. Neither do we!"

Pogba in 2018 disclosed it would be difficult for him to feature for a club at Parc de Princes due to his parents support for Marseille.

“I’m sure that I wouldn’t play club football at the Parc des Princes. I’m not attracted to that because my father and mother were fans of Marseille so Paris doesn’t really fit into my plans.”

PSG's hunt for Pogba was somewhat intensified by the comments of new recruit Georginio Wijnaldum who thinks the addition of the midfielder would bolster the side.

“I would love to have Pogba with us,” Wijnaldum told RMC Sport. “He’s fantastic. I have played against him several times – what a player!

“If you ask any player from another team if he would like Pogba to join him, everyone will say yes because he is an extraordinary player, full of qualities.

"He has it all, one of the best midfielders in the world.”
