The Juventus star says La Roja team-mates must believe in themselves despite acknowledging the fact that it will be hard to ‘fill the shoes’ of their golden era.

It started from winning the Euros under the late head coach Luis Aragones in Euro 2008, before winning the World Cup in 2010 under Vicente del Bosque.
Spain also successfully defended their European crown in the 2012 Euros and everything has gone downhill since.
Morata has moved in to defend Luis Enrique’s men following their failure to record a win in the ongoing Euros after playing with Sweden and Poland.
“If we listen to what people say that won’t help, because they are all waiting to pile on and criticize us,” the former Chelsea striker told Sky Italia.
“Usually when big nations reach a competition like this, there is a sense of unity around them.
“We know that we’re following a generation of geniuses who won everything and it’s difficult for us to fill those shoes, but we have to believe in ourselves.”
