Tuchel believes the Blues deserved to beat Sean Dyche’s men in what was his first victory in English football thanks to goals from Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.
The West Londoners started the game on the front foot but lacked the guile to break the defense of Burnley in the opening stages.
Azpilicueta opened the scoring inside 40 minutes after he was teed up by Callum Hudson-Odoi, who was a thorn in Burnley’s flesh all game.
Chelsea were threatening to add the second goal throughout the second half and finally got it six minutes before the final whistle through Alonso, who was making his first start since September, and that was enough to seal the victory.
"It was a hard team effort and a deserved win. The guys against Wolves also took their chance. I'm very happy with the performance and energy. It gives us a big boost for confidence,” Tuchel said after the game.
“This gives us a boost. You always have to convince players with results.
“We controlled the match completely; we never lost awareness or focus. We fought and we were strong, we deserved to win.
“It should be a signal to our guys up front that we needed two defensive players to score. What we lack at the moment is the last precision in the box. We will work on this.
"We had a lot of half chances but we had to wait a long time. What impressed me was that we never lost control and we had courage and confidence to impose our style.”
"We never got scared and we stayed patient. The attitude and energy was very good. We only conceded one shot in the 94th minute."
